In fact, it has been licensed in Germany for treatment of cerebral dysfunction with symptoms such as difficulties with memory, dizziness and ringing in the ears. It has also been used for treating problems such as poor circulation.*
Extracts of Ginkgo biloba attempt to increase blood flow to the brain.* This increase in blood flow means that the brain is being supplied with a greater amount of oxygen and glucose which results in (1) an increase in attention span, (2) improvement of short term memory and absent-mindedness.* Extracts of Ginkgo biloba attempts to offer some protection against Stroke in older individuals.
Dosage: 1 capsule 2-3 times daily.
