Astragalus is used to treat colds and upper respiratory infections, to strengthen and regulate the immune system, and to increase the production of white blood cells, particularly in individuals with chronic degenerative disease. It is also an antibacterial, antiviral tonic, liver protectant, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Children (2-4 years): 0.33-0.5 ml (10-15 drops)
Children (5-9 years): 0.5-0.75 ml (15-22 drops)
Children (10 - 14 years): 1-1.5 ml (30-45 drops)
Adults & adolescents (15 & over): 2-3 ml (60-90 drops).
All St. Francis Astragalus doses should be taken 2 times daily in a little water or juice on an empty stomach.
